By all account Green is a great guy. He would connect extremely well with young athletes.

As a player his problem was a tendency to get flustered in clutch situations. That tends to happen. Clutch players are a rarity.

Some grow out of it. Brandon Allen was horrific in tight situations until it finally clicked for him. It never clicked for Green and to be fair that might not be his fault.

Huh? Did you read this thread? If anything this confirms Petrino still knows elite QB talent when he sees it. Best QB combine in 20+ years and into the top 7 QB's for the draft.

Also probably why one of the greatest coaches of all time immediately scooped him up.

I love it for him but he has to work on his his turn over problems. He is dynamic but it's like he it doesn't know how to hold on to the ball
