First of all, why the hell are we playing little rock?
Secondly, we are going on 15 years with this frickin thing. We shouldn't be losing to the likes of UALR in year 15.

What's fair is fair, Rockiee. This is year 15. We shouldn't be losing to B league squads in year 15. We damn sure shouldn't be getting beat by 10 runs in year 15 to a juco squad.

You can't be serious....Its Arkansas. We find ways to get beat in games like this. We have the Stoerner fumble while taking a knee. The missed foul ball falling in between three guys. Petrino's April fools treat. Golden Handcuffs. Richardsons angry rant and the 20 year curse that followed.

I'm pretty sure the only title he has won here he won with someone else's players.
No titles. Can't win the big games. Got blown out by one of our satellite campuses. Strikes 1, 2, and 3 if you ask me.

I consider losing to Little Rock by eleventy five runs equivalent to a Citadel type performance.

At the end of the day Van Horn's only title came on the backs of someone else's players.
I don't care about appearances. I want titles. Van Horn can't deliver. And now we have to "rebuild" in year 15.
This has nothing to do with Mike. I just want to see consistency. I'm glad we are gonna hire a better b-ball coach.
We will eventually have to do the same with baseball.

I don't think he should be fired. It's just the point that "rebuild years" most certainly do happen for almost every program.
Everyone that trotted out the "this is year 8" excuse for getting rid of Mike aren't applying the same standard across all sports. It's plainly obvious.

We all knew this came back to Mike, let it go. They are not close to on the same standards. There isn't a comparison to be made. Mike didn't come close to a title game last year.

Later on I'll make up a list of coaches who have actually won SEC conference titles since our last one.
Making runs in the post season is great. Maybe soon Van Horn will recruit well enough to get a team capable of winning us an SEC championship. I won't hold my breath though.
Van Horn himself said his team is over rated this year. Which is a credit to Van Horn's coaching ability. But they've now lost 3 straight and are losing to G5 programs currently.
I sure wish we were a little better at this game. Apparently it's now our bell cow sport.

Is it because he almost beat the National Champs in post season play? Anderson did the same.
Eh. I'm happy we have a good baseball team. I think we treated Mike unfairly, but I am excited at our prospects moving forward.
I would like to see some pressure ratcheted up on Van Horn. Seriously. Maybe he will put a trophy in the case if he feels some pressure.
Maybe our fans can suggest some staff changes for him to make.
