What would be your thoughts if we got him?

Up 37-3 on undefeated Memphis

He's kicking the crap out of the "chosen one" Norvell.

As a UCF alum I don’t want to lose him. Unless it’s to Fayetteville

Yes please. He's at the top of my list if we move on from Bielema. He probably ends up back at Nebraska though.

Nebraska might've burned their bridge with him... Frost and Brohm would 1a and 1b right now.

Tennessee will make a run at someone big.... Honestly I don't know if LSU can even afford yaw yaw's buyout

Agreed.

I like Norvell, but Frost would probably be at or near the top of my list.

My concern about Norvell is that while he seems to win some games he has no business winning, he turns around and poops the bed the very next week.

Beat UCLA and then nearly lose to FCS bottom feeder Southern Illinois? Escape that game and get blasted by UCF?

I think Norvell can be very good, and he does have deep ties to the state, but he needs some more seasoning. He's a young head coach and he should improve with a bit more experience.

Agreed. I like Norvell and want him to succeed, but he needs to grow a little bit as a head coach before he's ready to take the reins of an SEC program.

I'm heartened by his offense and the fact that ASU has been dogshite since he left, but he needs to shore up his defense. UM's defense has been godawful this year.

At this point I think the 2017 SEC dumpster fire has guaranteed Bert another season.

First and foremost the coaching pool after the season will be a cesspool.

Sumlin
Butch
Luke
Yaw Yaw

We'll have to suffer another shitty season next year to get rid of Fat arse

Coaching hires should be favorable then rather than now.

Sadly, this was the year that favored Fat arse winning 9 games.

Sadly, he's in over his head.

I got on Anderson after the 2 losses and they turned the season around.

Frick fat arse and his shitty recruiting.

9 wins and I look like an idiot

Go Hogs

Exactly. He's 35, which is very young for an FBS head coach. Memphis doesn't exactly have what you would call a stellar football pedigree either so its not a turn key operation he stepped into. We will see how he bounces back from a shellacking that turned the extremely fickle Memphis press against him.

Defensively... SIU rang them up which is worrisome because my beloved semi-Alma Mater has sucked in football for a couple of Presidential Administrations. Another part of the maturation of a young coach, he's very solid with his offense, how will he fix something that isn't his pet project?

I have high hopes for him going forward but its going to be a bumpy road, like it is for all young coaches.
