I didn’t want Chad when he was hired. I was bashed on this board for being critical of the hire. With that said, I’m also not going melt down until he has had a chance to show what he can do with a roster made up of at least 60% of his own players

All of this.
The only animosity in the air over this coach right now is created out of thin fricking air just to have something to bitch/argue about.

It serves zero purpose.

Still not deadweight.... would have been good to have as a backup QB here.

Yes he was, and anyone with any football iq who watched any spring game with him in the game, and has watched him this year knows he was/is shite.

You are fricking retarded, and get triggered over chesh making a troll article about Arkansas having the white dudes. No one should take your retarded arse seriously.

Why are you still in here doing this shite, man? There wasn't a person on this board pleading this man's case for this job Not a single one. All you're doing is running around here beating your chest about being vindicated in your own contrarian world view. For real. It's pretty lame.

And I believe most posters are along with this mindset. No one is going to be defending Chad in year 3 with bad results.

I believe a coach shows their worth as a coach when they are dealing with less than their players.

As Bear said he'll beat you with his then beat you with yours.

Some of our Native Texans will, because I mean do you even know who Chad Morris is?

I'm not being vindicated about anything. I didn't say Chad would fail. I had hope like all of ya'll.

Different from Bielema.
Uptempo offense.
Ability to adapt (high school coach)
no more coachspeak

NONE of that has happened besides being different from Bielema. He's different and as of right now he is worse.

He will get his 3 years and he gain a ton of support if he starts to be competitive. It's sad but we aren't going to even require him to make a bowl next season.

I actually melted when bert was hired. Then slowly began to like him as just a dude, and decided to give him time. Then after 2015, and not winning more with that team, especially the MSU game. Then after the 2016 o line i was done.

Chad i was not mad or sad about the hire. Learned more about him. Still didn't care one way or the other. Now i see our recruiting, and i want him to stay to see what we can actually do if he keeps recruiting like this.

You should be banned for even comparing him to Nolan.

Nolan had struggles but nowhere near f'n 2-10 struggles.

Nolan also won championships at every stop before coming to Arkansas. What the frick has Aggie Bert won?

Good Times.

Nah, you might get one or two on here but people have less patience in general after Bert.

Our fans are really comparing red bull to one of the F'N greatest Razorback coaches (if not the greatest) of all time.

No wonder we can't get Nolan's name on the court.

I’m showing the hypocrisy of Dale’s statement. Nolan went 12-16 his first season. By Dale’s logic, that meant that he was not a good coach.

As I said last night, you have gone off the deep end.

Remember when Burt pissed off all the Texas High School coaches?

Was one of the first steps towards his total failure.

He beats Texas in the bowl game and get's the uncalled for raise and extension (the buyout was the worst part).

Tells Texas HS coaches that their offensive system suck -- essentially saying they suck.

Gets beat by Toledo.

Gets embarrassed by Coach Bro and Texas Tech.

Rebounds nicely and finishes the season 8-5 (5-3 in conference) BUT that should have been a 10 win year.

fast forward to the 4th qtr collapses against Mizzou and VT then the 4-8 season.

All of it started with a 3-9 season.

But somehow a 2-10 start will end better.
