There was a period in the game about midway through the second half. About 2 or 3 minutes of game time where Arkansas got out hustled by Tech. That was the entire difference in the game. Arkansas played a hell of a game tonight. It would have been nice to have gotten something out of our two shooters (Isaiah Joe and Mason Jones), but even with both of them being cold we should have won the game.

Going into the game I thought we would need multiple threes from both of them to have a shot.

Arkansas played excellent defense tonight. Almost all night long. Beat the spread and had a chance to win outright.

Overall I'm seeing some improvement. Now we need to start winning some conference games with a quickness.

alright dude, cmon now. We were in the game until the very end.. and predictably so, we lost.

If this were the 1st loss to happen this way in the CAM era, we wouldn't have a legit reason to complain. But after this amount of time, have at it. But at least be honest in our ranting. Because we did take the number 14 team in the nation to the wire in this game.

WE LOSE AGAIN though.. which is my point. At what point does it change for the good in recruiting, in coaching, in development, and in winning? Well?

How many times is that now? This team was never in the game. But it's funny that you actually thought we had a shot.

They lost 3 in a row. They are not that good. We just suck. And we would have lost this game at home too.

Yep, but unlike some.. I want us to win, and I post that everytime we win. Which isn't enough.

BUt, yet... we were very much in this game, till the end. Dang It! Just like at Texas, Western KY OUCH!, Georgia Tech, and to some extent even Florida and LSU!

We were in those games close to the end as well.

Well then y'all need to shut up because I betcha if you go look through the records you'll find the Mike Anderson is actually really good in one possession games. At one point last season they were 15-1 in their previous 16 one possession games.

To someone who actually knows the game of basketball it tells you two things. 1) He doesn't get blown out and is always competitive and 2) he is actually a very good in game coach. You don't amass a 15-1 record in one possession games by just "rolling the ball out there."

The thing is you guys think it's trendy or hip to hate on the youngest team in the country and you look like fools.

Did you like that graphic tonight putting Mike Anderson on blast as one of only four coaches to never have a losing season? Tom Izzo and Roy Williams are his contemporaries.

This and understanding that Mike Anderson cannot outcoach a trash can are not mutually exclusive. I want us to win every single game. But because I have eyes and a fricking brain I know that Anderson is incapable of this. He is garbage as shite. And he will be here next year and he will probably get is to the tourney to. And the idiots like boared are just fine with that.

3 top 25 finishes in 17 years isn't elite.

This is not a point of pride. Bc normally it means more lucky than good. Which is what Anderson is when he wins. It's also why we were never in this game. Bc if we were in this game we would have had a 15 point lead in the 2nd and won by 1.

None of this is the point, you fricking moron.

Every team plays close games. A lot. It's the nature of the game.

The point was that it isn't "predictable" for Arkansas to lose close games. Maybe for people who routinely predict the team to lose. It's called confirmation bias. Look it up.

But to the rest of the rational world the point doesn't hold water.

Yep, most here still do want us to win but there are some posters who would rather lose and pile on after. Apparently, it is crazy for some to think you can want Mike gone and still want or root for us to win.

Texas Tech did not make a basket from the field the last 7 minutes and 41 seconds of the game.

Still won.

Beard like every coach we face knew exactly how to defend Mike out of a timeout because he never changes the book. Every single time out of a timeout.

Stagnant tenure by stubborn HC who hasn’t adapted to the current game or evolved with the times.

Just another ranked road loss in a long list of them.

This is the kind of stupid shite arm-chair critics come up with when they don't understand the game.

Game has passed him by? You only need to look at the first half of TONIGHTS GAME to blow that nonsense out or the water. He forced 14 turnovers in one half of basketball.

That is Tech's per GAME average.

His system works just fine and saying that the game has passed him by comes across as mentally lazy.

We need to throw the bank at Will Wade and pray he comes. 7 million a year sounds about right.
