Preemptive South Carolina Melt Thread

I had predicted this one to be a loss, but I am doubting my prediction. South Carolina will be a tough out in Columbia. Physical ball club. That being said, this is a winnable game for the Hogs. Even on the road. Arkansas will be shooting for their 5th consecutive conference win.

This prompted me to look up game time etc and I see that KY held them to 48 points?

Yeah, they're kinda hard to get a handle on. When they're playing lesser competition the score quite a lot of points, but in most every big game they've played this season they couldn't score for shite.
I think Arkansas has a good enough defense to keep them under 75 points. Maybe even under 70 if the refs aren't blowing phantom foul whistles all night long.
ARHog is probably right. There'll be 50 or 60 free throw attempts.

If they score 75, I'd bet we lose... We need to hold them to 65 and I'm not sure that will be that difficult

Yeah, the more I think on it the more I like Arkansas's chances. Arkansas isn't gonna be bullied by anyone and that's kinda what South Carolina wants to do. Arkansas will fight them hard on defense.
South Carolina may struggle to score tomorrow.
Free throws, though. Arkansas needs to clean that shite up. Some of these games would have been lopsided for the Hogs if the other team didn't attempt 30+ free throws. Hell, one team shot FIFTY FREE THROWS against us.
Kinda hard to see how things should go when we have 3 guys fouling out each night. I like our chances though for sure.

If our bench and depth plays a good role, and is successful this should be a win. If not... and FT shooting sucks, we will lose...

Well this was the official out or bubble of the NCAAT game. We can't make it without this win. 22-4 run in 2nd half. Looks like writing is on the wall

My lord Mike Anderson might be a bigger idiot than fat Bert. Playing a team that can’t play tempo or run an offense against the press. You know the only thing we are decent at. Stops doing it during the second half and blows a 13 point lead.

We have auto losses coming to UK, State and Auburn. SC was a .500 team and just destroyed us. You are an idiot for thinking this isn't the nail in the coffin. Dont worry though. All Mike ever has to do is finish above .500 and you will want his contract extended.
