They need to shelve this stupid play. It's 0-3 this year, and all have resulted (or would have if not overturned via defensive penalty) in big losses of yardage.
Hammonds doesn't have the speed to get to the edge, and/or our offensive line can't block well enough to execute it. It's likely both, but how many times are we going to charge that hill?

Third game this season we've taken Franks out in a goal line and/or short yardage situation for the two most crucial conversion downs. I don't know what's going on with this, but it's not working. We're telegraphing to the defense what we're doing.
To boot, Franks has some running ability, so it's not like we're subbing out Johnny Leadfoot in order to get mobility at the QB position.
