Coach George McDonald said he told coach Bielema it was his goal to have a Biletnikoff award winner at Arkansas.

McDonald said that with the facilities that Arkansas has and are building kids from all over the country will want to play here.

George McDonald: "I wish we could get Cobi (Hamilton) back one more year. Does he have any more eligibility?"

Found one. LINK

Summarizing:

He has known coach B for a long time. Said Coach B used to give him road maps to help find high schools in south Florida when he was just getting started.

Worked with Pittman at N. Illinois, was a mentor to him.

Worked with Chaney.

Knows Partridge threw recruiting south florida.

Plans to be in Arkansas by the first of the year.

Has mainly recruited S. Florida but has recruited nation wide.

Was very passionate on winning the WR award. Said every kid he recruits will know that's their goal.

Feels he can get any kid from any part of the country to come because of the facilities.

Bobby Allen officially named Director of High School relations this morning.

Partridge will also have the title of Assistant HC as well.

Also, during Coach B's teleconference this morning, he said he has already hired a RB and LB coach, the RB coach won't be announced until after their Bowl Game, and the LB coach hire will 'amaze' people.

He did say he was keeping two people on the old staff. So Horton or Taver will be around next year.

good good good.

That leaves us with 4 positions to fill.

Anyone have a clue who Chaney worked with while with the Rams? Wonder if any of those guys might be in play.

I'm curious who it is on Boise's staff that's been signing the Texas kids. Mike Haywood is living in Houston and is looking to get back into coaching, I think he'd be worth a look. Was highly thought of til he had to choke a bitch.

ETA: make that 2 positions
