Arkansas probably wouldn't host last year if it wasn't for the Heisman level of play from Kopps. It was a very unsual year that required a constant bailout from Kopps.
I believe the current ranking they have now makes them a bit overrated considering they were going to have pitching issues. Sometimes it could be the prior level of success of Arkansas that the so called experts might overlook some of the issues that they could have instead. Ranking teams on what they did last instead of proper research on what they could bring the next year leads many fans being sold a bad deal. A more honest ranking should have put Arkansas outside the top 10 with pitching being the reason why.

Could it be better? No doubt. But the pitching staff has held it together for the most part, especially when you factor in Pallette going down right before the season started.
I’m just saying you’d have a hard time convincing me pitching is the issue right now lol. Hagen Smith could’ve thrown a perfect game and we would’ve been in extras
