100% shoulda left Costeiu in and of all people why Wiggins? Thought he looked decent midweek against D2 team?

Don't get it.

I get why can horn keeps sending him out there because he’s got the capability of being a 95-98 mph fireballer who can close the door, but he just hasn’t hit his spots enough or had the velocity expected. The light just needs to come on but there’s only so many opportunities left before he’s gonna have to be sidelined for midweek duties and hope to figure it out in the off season

we’ve still got a few more arms. Maybe Noland? And kopps should be good for an inning or 2 at the end if we get the lead

There’s only one way you find out about guys in baseball. That’s to trot them out and see what they have. If a kid can’t handle the pressure of 4,000 fans on the road in game 2 of a series, then he can’t handle the pressure of the post season.

While I believe Constieu should’ve been left in, DVH wanted to test Wiggins. It didn’t work and we move on.

Already was that's why he started midweek against State.

Wiggins hasn't seen SEC action in ages or much at all for awhile now.

Unfortunately we're just desperate.

I know but van horn was hoping he might’ve figured it out after some midweek action and wanted to test him in a high pressure situation, and it didn’t work out. Not the end of the world and van horn knows where he’s at with Wiggins

Desperate? What are you talking about?

Wiggins was brought in to see how he could handle it. He can’t. He likely won’t pitch again in a meaningful inning this year.

It’s not rocket surgery.

Yes, we are desperate to find another reliable arm. That's just common sense at this stage.

Right that was my D2 team comment. Throw in that and our desperation in the bullpen and that's what we got. And I don't think anyone is surprised by the result.

Vermillion is the killer. God we need him.

no we’re not. If this was game 3 of a super regional or cws wiggins wouldn’t come in. Costeiu would’ve most likely finished the game. Maybe even seen kopps even with the pitching he did yesterday.

Oh we most definitely are. DVH knows this bullpen is garbage outside of 1 arm and it scares him entering postseason as it should.

We are desperate for anyone to step up in the worst way.

The bullpen has literally thrown most of the innings in this series and you’re actually goofy enough to attempt to say there’s only 1 reliable arm.

Literally a stupid take on your part.

Just facts. I don't know what else to tell you we have one of the worst bullpens in the SEC when Kopps isn't available.

And it's the most obvious shite in the world too.

So you think bolden, monke, costeiu, have all pitched terribly this weekend?

ETA: we’ve given up 8 runs in the first 3 innings in the last 2 games but you think it’s the bullpen that’s the issue? Wiggins and pallete gave up 6 runs today combined; bolden and costeiu gave up 2.

No it isn’t.

You’re take is trash. As again, the bullpen has thrown the majority of the innings the last two days after being behind a combined 8-0 in both games early.
