He does not know how to manage the offense we want to run. He does not understand that we are a running team and will live and die on the run. While I completely understand we must have SOME passing game to keep teams honest, I also understand that we will NEVER win a game putting the ball in Allen's hands and abandoning the run. Somehow, this obvious truth has been lost on Chaney despite everyone seeing it happen over and over again.

He abandoned the run in the second half @ AU when we were still in the game. He abandoned the run when we had the ball with plenty of time left and down by 1 tonight.

Our defense played a hell of a game tonight and against A&M, but the efforts were a waste due to offense mismanagement by a professional, high paid coach. He needs to go.

Chaney looks to abandon the run game when ever possible.

The run game does not have to run for 10 YPC, even when "shut down" it serves a purpose to set up something that has not been used enough, Play action. When you mainly run between the tackles, the cute little fake toss naked boot will work once a game, so why call it 5 time a game while not faking a run between the tackles?

Chaney is predictable in that if you can stop the run, all you have to worry about from that point forward is the pass...

But the running game set up the passing game.

Receivers were open......Allen could not hit them.

I can understand if we were calling pass plays but nobody was open.......but Allen was just missing them!

Are you shitting me? He goes full retard in the second half...especially the fourth quarter. BA sucks arse. QUIT frickING CALLING HIS NUMBER!!!! Guess what? He'll frick it up. This is reality. I'm all for a balance attack, but our passing attack is fricking WEAK!!! Win or lose with your strength. frick it. Run two then pass. It's not like passing on first and second down isn't gonna be a flaming POS. Just my opinion.

I don't really agree with this. I like what Bert is building, I just don't think Chaney should be part of the system. I think Allen played fairly decent tonight. He did miss alot of throws, BUT he did convert on alot of 3rd and Long plays. With the play calling by Chaney, it really put us behind the chains in the 2nd half. Instead of dealing with 3rd and 4 type situations, Allen was having to throw on alot of 3rd and 10's. Eventually, that will come back to bite you. Like it did us.

I like Bert.

I don't think the play calling is the problem.

Its QB execution and development.

I don't claim to be a football genius, but what I've observed in successful coaches is that they use the tools they have to give them the best chance to win. The thing that irks me about Chaney is that it appears he doesn't know what his best tools are. QB development or not, let's face it, Allen is not a Mallet or Wilson type QB. He just flat out doesn't have that ability. That being said, it doesn't mean he can't be a quality QB. With our line and RB's, our QB role should be that of the "game manager" He will need to pass some to keep the D honest, but don't call 15 pass plays in a row and put him in a position to fail. We're not using the best tools we have. It's like trying to cut wood with a hammer.

she probably is a dirty slut.

At no point will I be desperate to bang her. I've said all along that it's a bad idea.

There's nothing wrong in being simple, simple is a better life. When you're complicated you're conflicted and conflict doesn't breed happiness.
