I didn't read the thread bc I don't know what thread you're even talking about, I do know he's been around awhile and I've never had a problem with him.

It seems that most peoples problems are with anyone who thinks a coach is under performing and that makes me think of Hogville and why I started posting here in the first place

Why is it considered arrogant, first of all? Either the point can be discussed or it can't. Why are people so dead-set on policing WHEN other people have the right to post a critique? I would LOVE to get along. I just think that starts by not attacking people, but their ideas. A lively and worthwhile board is not going to flourish when people are shouted down for their opinions. And that's 100% this board's MO.

How about we start issuing warnings when people make personal attacks, delete the post, and the next time they do it they get a ban - even if temporary? I'll gladly abide by those rules. Applied to everyone. That's a board that won't seem like a high school cafeteria.

I didn't start ANY of it. I said my opinion and was immediately "attacked."

The responses were: Maybe you're the stupid one for continuing to watch? (No debating the point), Where were you yesterday? Once again - I acknowledge that I responded to these CONTINUED, varied assaults on my character by calling people Cs and morons. But, spouting the same thing over and over doesn't make it correct or incorrect. What I see in a MA coached team and what others see, well.. .its evidently different.

In the Florida game I saw a stifling defense, with a offense that was definitely off from the previous few games. Is this coaching? I think so, but if that D were used in several other games this season, we would be sitting at a better position for the tourney. so, it has to be some coaching. However, when compared... where does MA rank as a coach?

I agree with you in that we have seen the same thing over and over multiple times this season, and in past seasons. It is his calling card, his design, his program. I do wish some positive changes would be made and I don't have a problem stating it. I also don't have a problem with others who disagree.

I got in on the conversation, again... without seeing the attacks on you but only seeing what you wrote and it was offensive. Since you bring up my hypocrisy, which there may be some truth there that I will gladly work on... How about turning the other cheek a bit as well?

We know, for the most part, that Stone is a major MA supporter and not a fan of CCM of the football program as of yet. It is apparent that he is defensive of MA. I am not sure why, and it really doesn't matter in the scheme of things.

I spoke my support of letting you back on the board, for whatever that was worth.
