Nolan's Accomplishments ....Even more impressive in hindsight?

I'm not sure how much more or less rampant the cheating was then but his "Burger King" all Americans for the most part weren't 5 star equivalent guys (Corliss excluded) , but Nolan's system and his tenacity took down known cheaters Pitino and Lute Olsen and the "untouchable" Coach K, and nearly slayed UCLA, a program with a long history of cheating and bribery.

I'm not saying no payments were made at Arkansas...I'm not that ignorant, but I'm just gonna go out on a limb and say his teams were at a pretty steep disadvantage against most of these big name schools from the jump.

Not a whole lot of corruption like what's going on today, but our players were get fat wads of cash.
