My take on the game

I thought as a whole we did what we were supposed to do for once it being the first game of the season. I thought the defense looked quite a bit faster than in years passed and was impressed with our overall performance. I believe the defense will surprise a lot of people this year. On offense I'm still a little concerned about the oline. It being the first game the defense is expected to be ahead of the offense. Allen did look a tad bit off. I don't know if it was first game jitters or what. I think a lot of it was we played very vanilla on offense. The running backs I'm really excited about. That Hayden kid is going to be a stud. If they can add a little more bulk to him watch out. Overall I was satisfied with our performance for the first game of the season. Next week against TCU will be the test of how much better we are. I believe the offense will be opened up more and we will see more open shots for Allen, but that is only going to happen if the oline begins to gel more. I think we did exactly what we were supposed to do against the type of opponent we faced. Pumped for next week. Let's go and get Hogs! I for one am pretty excited but not gonna get my hopes up yet. These young men need us as a fan base behind them. I'm for one gonna stick with them. Go hogs!
