Between Tenner, TAMU, etal.. There is so little about our search on the Rant or elsewhere and I love it.

Keep it quiet and get er done!

It's funny, because I was listening to the radio on the way home (I live like 2 hours from Knoxville) and the local radio guys were talking about our search and how quiet we have been throughout this whole thing. They listed the main candidates that have been thrown around (Malzahn, Norvell, etc.) and talked about how nice it must be to have a plan when compared to the Tennessee search. While sometimes it may not seem like it, it's nice to know it could be worse

This is why I am not worried. Leaking info destroys negotiations sometimes. I actually feel like ours is not a total cluster frick like some here think

Yep. If you see so and so had a great interview at this point, consider it trash.

Tennessee’s problem isn’t necessarily their AD it’s whatever loose lipped mother frickers they have in their athletic department that is leaking all this info.

Agreed.

Won't be long now and they'll just create a new reality show called "Can Tennessee Land a Football Coach?" May as well just put a camera on their AD over there and let the world watch him contact coaches and get turned down.

Yep. I'm not sure how our search is staying so quiet with (seemingly) so many oars in the water, but I'm proud of the way it looks. Especially compared to TN.

I don't think it's a mess at all. I believe there has been a plan from the beginning and it's being executed. 1, 2, 3.

We live in a microwave society. And this process takes patience sometimes.

My take of the matter about as valuable as a cup of coffee or less.

I tend to think Gus Malzahn is secretly negotiating holding off the acting AD's offer awaiting results of GA game. Therein, Auburn will ante up his current contract with a sizeable gain should Auburn win.

The offer by AR will then be reevaluated by Gus and he will arrive soon for recruiting OR he will stay to participate in a Bowl with AR holding the bag.

Coaching is a business and business is business ... ya know!
