Before those two, I’d go with Dan Lanning.
He is from KC, MO.
Has just as much potential, but understands that recruiting is a must, at all position coaches.
He is going to make the same mistakes as Sam, but I don’t think he will continue making them like Sam has.
He is young, and like Kirby and Saban in that I don’t think he will get fat and happy not working.
