We obviously will always have TX players on the roster. That's fine and great. I want hog fans and players all over the US.
And I guess we'll also always have Lil Ole Arky mentality fans like you to sniff the Texas player's used jock straps in devotion to them. And thats OK too!

Starkel is awful and I did think he was better than Hicks so I’ll admit that, But I have thought Chad probably sucked since last season- the choke game against whoever it was and then the overreaction suspensions of the guys for flirting in whatever Mississippi game - that was a bad sign. So I still feel like I was one up on you.
I am intoxicated now and only watched the first few series tonight but I really can’t imagine many folks being a worse coach than him, and I’m talking regular people as in bank tellers, fry cooks, janitors, etc probably couldn’t suck worse. I legit think i could be as good of a coach if not better than him. He’s freaking putrid.

I took a nap at about 5. Didn't wake up till 8. I was asleep during the entire first half. It was nice.

I can't sleep now though. I'll be good for the end of this Oregon Washington State game. Hopefully watching one of our future coaching candidates.

FWIW...I'm as old school as it gets and I have no problem with Texas. In fact, I like the state of Texas. I just don't like the Longhorns (and that's being nice). And I never again want Arkansas to be in the same conference with them. EVER!
Texas A&M fans know what I'm talking about.

This is neither here nor there and doesn't really matter much toward our circumstances, but I remember following Saban at Michigan State. At the time one of my best buds was a Michigan guy and we used to watch games together a lot.
Michigan State was terrible before Saban got there. Red headed step child status. He lost quite a few games there for a few years but eventually got them competing for a Big10 Title. If I remember correctly, in his last season there he knocked off Michigan and Ohio State both. I was extremely impressed and when LSU hired him I said to myself, says I, "oh shite."
I guess the moral of the story is that if you have an AD who actually follows the game he can maybe find guys like that?
I trust Yurachek can do a good job finding someone if the dipshits will just stay out of his way. I was very impressed with the Musselman hire and I think he has a good eye for coaching talent.

Bert was a worthless piece of shite deserving of absolutely ZERO credit for any success UW had while he was there, and every UW fan knew it. None were sorry to see him go.
Barry Alvarez is the football legend who kept that train rolling while Bert was busy emptying vodka bottles.
Morris is just another result of amazingly bad personnel selection by Arkansas ‘leadership’.
Anyone with an objective view could see the long term train wreck coming... all they had to do was look close at who’s been pulling the strings and what their priorities have been.
