Your absolutely right. And it is genius if you can use it as a catalyst to the program and win.

It is foolishness if you cant.

I'm just sick of hiring the "Practice till you get it right" guys. I'm ready for the "Practice until you can't get it wrong." coach. We need a coach with fire that will stick a foot up someone's arse to wake this dead program's sorry corpse up.

It's purely a personality trait thing but I really do think things like that go a long way when you're coming into a hard situation like this.

There is a night and day difference in how they run practices, though. Muss is all over someone's arse for a missed layup. He pays attention to every little thing. He wants perfection and audibly demands it from his team repeatedly. All things Chad does not do.

If you dont think Chad and Chandler are a package deal then I think you're being naive. And I'm not sure what Staffords success has to do with Chandler just because they went to the same high school. You clearly buy into "Texas FB is better" theory. Good for you. I don't. When it comes to recruits and coaches from Texas, they havent proven to be the Gods theyre built up to be.

Recruiting rankings back this up I’m not some Texas hs football homer. Also I’ve said on here Chandler should go elsewhere, the pressure of playing for your dad at this level is pretty unprecedented and I wouldn’t blame him a bit for avoiding it.

So do the number of NFL players from Texas, specifically quarterbacks.

I get there is more competition and higher recruiting rankings in TX. That all means jack shite on a personal level. It clearly didnt give aggie Chad some edge that he's now using to go beast mode on the SEC. Clearly, you see that right?

I just don't understand the hangup with his son staying behind at his high school, it has NOTHING to do with why we suck. Do you think Chad would magically be a better coach if Chandler lived in Fayetteville?

This is provably false. I think you're just old school and have a personal hatred for all things Texas, which I understand. It's clouding your judgement in both of these statements though.

As someone who had to move out of state their senior year of high school, I respect Chad a hell of a lot for what he's done for his kid. Probably the only thing he's done right. That shite causes a lot of problems for a teenager. That's only compounded for Chandler being a major recruit. Even if he wasn't having to deal with all of the issues that come with being a football player, I'd still have no issue with him letting his kid stay and finish high school where he started.

Definitely one of the more baffling thing that our fans have complained about over the years.

It’s because it’s Texas, had he moved from Oklahoma or Louisiana or some other state it’s a non-issue. It’s also a non-issue if we don’t suck arse.

Im saying all our recruits can equally suck regardless of state origin. Youre saying "oh but he's from Texas, gotta be better".

How our fanbase reacts to recruiting: undue credit and praise given just because 3* recruit Braxdyn lives in DFW even though we all know he's just gonna get a DUI driving to the Torchys, like all cursed Hog players and never throw a TD. Thats how it plays out. Meanwhile the Arkansas QB recruit also sucks and throws twice as many INTs as TDs and they both transfer anyway. But wow we got that coveted TX recruit frick yeah and get just as excited when we get that next kid from Grapevine ISD

Yep, my 60 year old dad had to move across the country before his senior year and he STILL talks about how hard it was all the time. He wasn't a star football player that had been with the same team for 3+ years either.

There's SO much to complain about with Chad, stuff that actually matters to the W-L column and how competitive we are. His son staying in TX has literally nothing to do with any of it.

I dont care where his son plays. I thinks its funny fans are getting so excited for a kid not likely to come here if we fire dad. Also, I dont automatically cream my pants because a recruit played Texas football.

Dude you just hate Texas, like all old school Arkansas fans.

You can just admit it, it's pretty accepted around here

1. I Never said
2. Please tell me again why it’s a negative thing that he let his son finish his high school life with his friends and teammates? Really looking forward to this answer so please enlighten me

Yeah man I’d hate to get a recruit that has offers from Oklahoma, Clemson, etc. that would suck!

And continue to think we don’t need Texas kids to be competitive. Let me know how that works out.
