I was thinking back to the old CB radio meets we used to do. You knew someone by their “ handle” but really didn’t know much about them until you saw them “ eyeball to eyeball.” And yes, there were some surprises.

Me too, although I didn’t acquire it until well after the CB craze as they were expensive back then. It looks like the one pictured (a Mark IVA), but it has the Astatic D-104 mic.
And Pioneer I don’t think you can get the regular FM radio station band on a CB but some of the newer models come with weather bands. You should get one as this information would prove invaluable to you in providing us with “ quality” current and accurate severe weather threads.
