I have an idea

not the best of idea, but it is simply an idea.
So as we all know we're the favorite fanbase of the SECR, much of it is because we've become so defensive and we rally to defend and attack. It's like we communicate with our souls, a non verbal language of gyration.
So I've deployed this strategy in some obvious troll threads and it stops 'em dead cold. Maybe we should tone it down, answer troll threads with reasoned thought out serious responses if the OP is a premise of a question.
We can simply ignore bush league flame threads that have no effort in hiding the hook.
We could also just simply agree with the premise of the troll, and praise lavish upon the favored team of the idiot OP.
I can only imagine how much this would piss the rant off, would absolutely drive those morons bonkers. Just reverse psychologize the shite out of 'em.

Have fun, be safe. I'm chilling babysitting my niece tonight. If the weather stays not cold as a MF'r I may bring her up to the square for the last night thing. I really enjoyed it when it was called first night. For some reason I preferred doing the community event thing and getting a bottle of bubbly with the ex over spending ridiculous prices at the local bars. Then again when I worked in the bar scene NYE was the night to never miss; great tips to be had tonight.

As I take it......
A ranter like woopiginaustin starts talking about how Arkansas baseball is better than LSU baseball because something like the temperature. Then everyone agrees as if there is no doubt in the world, to the point it's stupid I even pointed such an obvious fact out in the first place.

Oh see I thought the opposite, as in like Bovine Molester, LSU fans says "Aggies R Better than R-Kansas" and we list all the rasons why it is true.

Best idea I've heard in a long time. The "good" trolls like Crow, dWag, etc. will get it and join along. The piss ants will just become so confused they'll soil themselves trying to figure out how their not "winning".

Just enjoy the NYE celebrations and follow our lead. for example: when the inevitable ranter replies back to something 41-17 or whatever the score was last year, rather than doing the normal 50 yard line hogsessed dance, we'll just acquiesce and say things like "yes, LSU was a mighty fine and powerful team that season. Def. one to be proud of."
It's a kill 'em with kindness type of thing.
