It will be interesting to see who else steps up. Does Gragg emerge?

Don't forget O'Grady.

Hoping at least one of the trio of O'Grady, Gragg and Cantrell steps up to complement Sprinkle.

It's interesting that they said he got a first round grade, I know he was certainly close in Mock's but was never in one.

WalterFootball Mock had him like 37th overall in 2nd round.

Mcshay didn't have him in his first round.

And Kiper was meh on the TE class on his position big board:

quote:

Tight ends

1. *Hunter Henry, Arkansas
2. Jerell Adams, South Carolina
3. **Bucky Hodges, Virginia Tech
4. *Austin Hooper, Stanford
5. *Jordan Leggett, Clemson
6. Nick Vannett, Ohio State
7. David Morgan II, UTSA
8. *Evan Engram, Mississippi
9. Tyler Higbee, Western Kentucky
10. Bryce Williams, East Carolina

Again, have to point out here: Jake Butt of Michigan would be No. 1 but will be returning to school. There's talent here but not a particularly special tight end class.

1st round grade doesn't mean 1st round pick

more of a witten type than the basketball types with elite mismatch athleticism

I'm pretty confident he'll go late 1st round with a good combine showing.

Deserves it.

New Mocks have HH in the 1st round:

quote:

25. Green Bay Packers: Hunter Henry, TE, Arkansas

The Packers will get Jordy Nelson back, but they need to bring in more talent upgrades to get the offense back on track.

Henry totaled 51 receptions for 739 yards and three touchdowns in 2015. He did a nice job as a blocker and receiver for the Razorbacks, but they never used him enough in the passing attack. Henry has the quickness to get downfield with the athleticism to get open against safeties and linebackers. In the ground game, he was a steady blocker for the Razorbacks' potent rushing offense.

The 6-foot-6, 255-pounder is a well-rounded tight end who produced well in 2014, too. He was a good blocker for the Razorbacks' ground game while contributing 37 receptions for 513 yards and two scores. Henry had 28 receptions for 409 yards and four scores as a freshman.

quote:

30. Denver Broncos: Hunter Henry, TE, Arkansas

The Broncos traded for Vernon Davis in the middle of the season, but that turned out to be a failure. Davis did nothing but drop passes. The Broncos will have to go back to the drawing board in terms of replacing Julius Thomas. They could find the solution with Hunter Henry at the end of the first round.

Don't you tease me. There is no way that I could get this lucky.

That's exactly where I expect him to go. I think he'll blow the NFL guys away during the interview process and somebody will trade up to get him in the back third of the first where he'll land w/ a good franchise that does things the right way.
