But hey, we got that SEC trophy again!!!!

The only solice we have is that Oregon finished worse than us... 25th.

It will be very interesting to see how they go about their offseason and how we go about ours. At least they have numerous nattys since us, so their staff may survive. But either way, there is simply zero excuses for either of these programs finishing that poorly.

The men scored 12 points.... Total. They were beaten soundly in the final standings by 5 SEC teams (and two future ones in UT and OU).

Here is the final finishers with point totals:

1 Florida 54
2 Texas 38
3 Tennessee 34
4 Florida State 33
5 Georgia 32
6 LSU 31
7 Princeton 27
8 Stanford 24

9 Texas Tech 22
11 Alabama 21

Freaking pathetic. Surely Hunter knows deep rooted fans do not accept this year after year. We have a sign at the city limits for God's sake. 12 points.

10 of those 12 points came from - LINK

quote:

Razorback Ayden Owens-Delerme captured the NCAA title in the decathlon, equaling the meet record with a score of 8,457 points at Hayward Field on Thursday.

“It’s great to get 10 points for the team and win a national championship to follow up my indoor title,” stated Owens-Delerme. “I’m in the company of some great athletes who have won both indoor and outdoor titles in the same year.”

Owens-Delerme joins an elite group in winning the NCAA Indoor heptathlon and NCAA Outdoor decathlon in the same year. This is the fifth time it had been done since 2009.

Oregon’s Ashton Eaton accomplished the feat in 2009 and 2010. Kentucky’s Tim Duckworth completed the task in 2018, and Georgia’s Karel Tilga produced a double win in 2021.

Teammate Daniel Spejcher joined Owens-Delerme in scoring team points for Arkansas as both earned first-team All-America honors. Spejcher placed seventh with 7,744 points.

Take the sign down if Arkansas track and field accepts this loser status.

I don't know why in the hell sucknam never recruits long distance runners.

Go back in time and fire him three years ago. This is embarrassing. Give him his walking papers and start looking for his replacement.

Just realized 10 of 12 is our decathlete's title win.

So, one kid can do it all and 30 others muster a 7th place.

Of all the great things Hunter has done during his short tenure by far his most bizarre and worst move was almost immediedtly extending Bucknam.

And that was around the same time he was canning Mike Anderson for being mediocre. I just don't get it at all.

I think he thought Bucknam might be able to turn things around.

Well he hasn't. Not by a long shot. Bucknam is a boil on the buttocks of Arkansas.

Florida just dominated and won both men's and women's Outdoors. They have the same coach for both squads, Mike Holloway, who is easily one of the best coaches in the world and focuses heavily on breeding Olympians and Olympic champs.

By doing so, he is getting crazy amount of transfers coming into the program basically by selling exactly what Musselman does - - being a pro and training you just like pros. And it's obviously working.

With Harter retiring, I don't see how this is not the perfect time to clean house altogether and go out and get the absolute best coach you can in the world to run the program, for both the men and the women.

You're Arkansas. You should basically be able to pluck almost whomever you want.

Don't let Bucknam take over the Women's team now, too and run them into the ground like he has done with the men.

Talk about the Angel of Death hovering over your shoulder. Bucknam taking over the women's program would be the kiss of death for those poor women.
