Well Washington county is fantastic. Okay.

It's still good but once Bottom's Up was bulldozed it declined.

That having been having been said, you go from the reasonably flat plateau to the hills of Fayetteville. Which can take some getting used to.

Family wise. Well. NW Arkansas is where I'd prefer to be when it happens. My dad died in Marion, AR (closer to Memphis than most of Memphis) and nobody showed up to his funeral because, despite living there for 30 years he was an outsider. You don't get that in NW Arkansas.

Because NWA is chock full of yank and california imports. NWA might be in Arkansas, but it's the Subaru capitol of the south.

We’ll come see us. I’m over here in Apalachicola…drinking town with a fishing problem. He’s probably over where the rich folks live.

I recollect that we talked about getting together to fish, but haven’t done it yet. I’m in AR duck hunting right now anyhow….and it’s too cold to fish unless you can get to Key West.

Still on the agenda man. Lost my Mom and then my Dad this past year. Spent must of my time taking care of them in Arkansas until they passed.

Far from rich down here in LA,

All good man, both lived a great life well into their 90's.

I have a complete new respect for caregivers after trying my best for my parents. They don't pay those folks near enough money.

agreed, it is screwed up. In our hometown, we had some ladies come by our church for some food. We had some officers helping load he cars. several have records for meth, drugs of all other sorts, etc. The officers joked about those who take the jobs are often of that sort.

Why? Because the pay is very low, little to no benefits for caregivers while nursing homes are charging 7 grand a month or more. Lost my mom at the beginning and my dad at the end of covid. wife had breast cancer, and we both suffered heart attacks with bypess surgeries. Life can be a roller coaster for sure

aww, it's all good man. We aren't promised anything in this life, but to prepare for the next.

The main thing that I deal with personally is anger/frustration. PTSD type of stuff from seeing too much, etal. I wish I had thought of www.calm.com, lol...
