Heads up around the Atkins, Pottsville, Dardanelle area

Wicked supercell head for that area, very strong velocity signature on radar right now.

i'm in russellville at work and about a mile from dardanelle right now. the sirens went off a few minutes ago but have now stopped and the rain has calmed down too.

I'm now in Russellville, but grew up in, and still have family in Atkins. There does seem to be an inordinate amount of storm activity across those 3 towns.

After I posted this, the storm really cycled down, and got bunched up into a mess with a couple little storms, now a part of the big mess is trying to break off and rotate as well.

Stay safe folks, the footage out of Clinton looks bad. Don't risk it on the roads. Stay at work and go home later if you have to. Pretty tore up vehicles on the roads in Clinton.
