I reserved the domain "FireMikeAnderson.net" when he was hired. So yeah...

I have been hoping he'd make some changes with staffing and do a better job recruiting...not to mention the philosophical differences. So - for the first time, yeah. I guess I would prefer if we moved on.

With that said, my opinion will change as quickly as Mike does.

The couple of months after basketball season ended this year? Yes but not right now. He will probably have to make the NCAA tournament for me to change my mind on wanting to see him go after the season is over.

This is right where im at.

It was a bad spring and summer. Terrible performance against Butler and some troubling roster moves with Hall and Jones transferring. Also looking like theres some baffling recruiting reaches happening, but whatevs.

Ive been between happy and frustrated with the program for a couple years, but im also not convinced that the Univ is capable of hiring the right guy to take the next step.

Id be fine with 18-20 wins and NIT this year.

This has actually been more of my issue when looking at Mike as a whole. I know you aren't going to grab every kid in the state that is highly ranked but he has missed too many imo.

I remain high on Anderson since signing this class. I love the look of this team and I think we will finally see these guys make a run in a tournament either this year or next. Depends on how quickly these guys can adjust to the speed of the game.

The measurables of this roster are extremely good. Great length from the 1-5 and all seemingly either great athletes, ball players, or both.

Also, as someone else already mentioned, Anderson's teams DO seem to overachieve. I think it's his system. He overcomes talent deficiencies with his style of play. Until we play the teams in the top tier. We haven't won those lately, but I feel like he closed the talent gap considerably with this class and I look forward to these guys finally taking some of the big dogs down.

Posihog.

We played well, our defense looks much better than last year, but there are glaring problems with this team and it's going to be very frustrating

Yes, it will be. The shot selection at times is very frustrating. We had the lead up by 10 and then the offense just becomes stagnant and they start jacking up 3 after 3 after 3 with no motion or anything.

That was mainly because we had 4 of our 5 starters out. I expect that the line ups will become better as the season goes on.
