Reports are that #Arkansas TE Austin Tate broke his collar bone and is expected to be out a minimum of 4 weeks. More info as I know it...

They funny part is the pissed off arkansas media hacks who didn't get the story from the BAC and had to find a tweet from Tim Horton to get the story.

Heaven forbid they had to work on twitter and do their job for once.

According to an assistant coach at Auburn, Austin Tate had surgery on his shoulder. RazorVision will have updates at 10! #NOT

From 247:

quote:

**Jeremy Sprinkle said with Austin Tate going down the TEs will still be okay plenty of depth there. Feels bad for Austin

**Carroll Washington said tonight's practice was more mental than physical. Getting ready for scrimmage tomorrow

**Randy Shannon said all the LBer spots are still open. No one has a job sewn up yet.

**Alan D'Appollino said special teams have never had the emphasis they have under this staff. He said in particular the special situations. Tonight they worked on blocked field goal, blocked punt and all kinds of special situations. He said that came from Bret Bielema's background as a special team's coach.

**Coach Partridge said that Hocker has really grabbed ahold of the punter's job at this point. He said he has really stepped it up in all regards.

frick Tim Horton. I find it disrespectful towards Bielema that he tweets that shite out like that.

He's just pissed off that Bielema would rather hire a high school coach than keep him on staff.

or he could actually feel bad for Tate and didn't think about it.

So concerning.

Really hoped that at least 1 LB would have stepped up and laid claim to at least 1 spot by now.

That's probably a little hyperbole from him. Lake has his position locked up at least.

He probably didn't think about it. Which itself is disrespectful, IMO.

I thought the same thing. There are federal laws regarding student records that the school can't release w/o consent.

If his injury was bad enough to require surgery I'm sure getting his signature on a release form wasn't the highest of priority.

Pretty pointless for Horton to tweet that at 9pm on a Friday. Like a creepy old guy he probably saw a tweet to Tate from someone he knows and responded off of that for the PR and to keep the public image up.

Jesus doesn't hear your prayers unless you tweet them.

He probably winked at his phone when he sent that out. Fly little tweet, go home, you're free now.

Nice little preseason work out on the rant tonight men and women. Nice to see us getting our legs back in shape for when the Lat returns from the IR list at the first of the season.

Now fast foward to the 8:00 mark and wind down a little
