Doesn't seem like he's lost a step since last year. He caught a pass on one play and broke a tackle, then busted one up the sideline for a huge gain. He moves his feet really quick like Dennis Johnson used to do so he kind of glides across the ground almost. He is sneaky fast.

How much time are you expecting to save once bypass is finished...just wondering which way will be best for me when its done.

15-20 minutes would be my guess. Bella Vista just kills any kind of speed you have.

It takes me 2 hrs from Pea Ridge going up through Cassville and Right at Monett.

That's the way we used to go before they opened up the 4 lanes from Pineville to Bella Vista. That made that way faster for us.

I will mostly be reiterating what others on here have already said. Also, I don't know shite about footwork and all that jazz so I won't be able to give you professional critiques on the linemen.
The defensive line is stout, there is no doubt about that. The offensive line had some times where they looked really good run blocking and times where it looked like a prison break and the offensive line were the unfortunate prison guards. The defensive line got a lot of penetration today giggity, and do seem like the strength of the team.
Brandon Allen will be much improved from last year. He throws a nice ball, and seems like he knows what the hell is going on.
Jonathan Williams looks like he will be a solid back. He had a nice move where he shook the defender then ran for a million yards before he was tackled. He did put the ball on the ground at the very end of a couple of plays that I would have liked to not have seen.
Alex Collins is what people thought he would be, an elite running back. He has skills that can't be taught. His hips are incredible with the way he can turn 90 degrees and keep his balance. He had a couple of nice runs with showtime jukes, but I was most impressed with how he always keeps his legs churning. The scrimmage was situational and he was in there a lot on 3rd and short. His ability to cut and juke out of nowhere allowed him to pick up a few first downs when it looked like he was going to poundtown courtesy of the D-Line. Barring a major injury he will be a star, and possibly superstar, before he leaves Arkansas.
Holmes is always a seam or missed tackle away from taking it to the house. If we can get him into space this year he will provide us with Joe Adams type highlights.
Kody Walker is so much quicker now than when he first got here that I had to look at the roster to see who #24 was, because he rattled off a few very impressive runs showcasing some quickness and a little shake and bake.
Patrick Arinze is a legitimate option to run for some tough yards in the middle of the field. I expect him to become a nice player for us.
Javontee Herndon and Demetrius Wilson are looking impressive so far. They both have reliable hands and they catch the ball away from their bodies. They both also possess the ability to get plenty of YAC. Herndon had the best catch of the day. He had about 5 yds on Collins when Allen threw the ball, but the ball was very under thrown, Herndon says no problem then sticks his nuts on the top of Collins shoulder pads and hauls in the pass for a touchdown. Javontee will be a solid receiving option for us this year.
Horton also had some really nice catches today. I'm not sure if he has pissed off the quarterbacks though, because every time he caught a pass he was immediately initiated into a gang.
Defense:
The surprise for me today was Martrell Spaight. That dude is fast, fast as shite. He had several nice plays. He hit Drew Morgan so hard a woman close to me starting speaking in tongues(joking of course). He also had a play where he hit the back as soon as he received the ball in the backfield. If he learns the playbook he will be a solid linebacker in the way Leon and Highsmith were. He can get in the backfield on a blitz in a fricking hurry and he tattoos anybody he hits.
Chris Smith is a fricking manchild beast. He will live up to his hype this year. Trey Flowers and Deatrich Wise are also going to punish people on the end. Jamichael Winston also looks like a future arse whooping machine for our defense.
When we lined up with 3 or 4 DE's on the line instead of with the tackles, we got to the quarterback at will on 3rd and long situations.
The secondary as a whole needs to improve the tackling, but it did seem much improved over last year.
The scrimmage seemed so much more physical than the others I have witnessed. The players seem to be buying into idea of being physical, you could hear the pads popping all day.
Our CBs seem like they are looking for the ball more often, but I will wait until the season before I pass judgement on them.
Darius Philon is really quick and powerful. We got a nice steal out of the state of Alabama. If he stays out of the doghouse he can be a big deal here at Arkansas. Robert Thomas looks like he will live up to some of his hype this year. I don't know if he will live up to all of it though.
I didn't get to watch much of the linebackers, and I don't know how they are in coverage. They did seem to fit in the gaps well and they didn't miss many tackles. Like I said before though, Martrell Spaight is a fuggin badass.
Overall I feel a lot better about this team. I still say we win 5 - 7 games this year, but there is a lot more talent here than people outside of Arkansas think. I truly believe that Bielema can and will be successful at Arkansas.
ETA: Who is this Antwine kid? He is by far the most physical receiver we have on the roster. In the blocking drills between the DBs and WRs he was the only WR to consistently own the DB. He was putting them on their arse on the reg out there. He isn't insanely fast but he will merc a mother out there.

My brother and I could have come sat next to you guys. We sat next to a guy that was loud and thought he knew everything about the team when in reality he knew little. He spent about half the scrimmage calling Arinze Kiero Small. So annoying.

Yeah that would have been cool, maybe we'll be able to meet up another time.
Also, I'm going to take StoneHog's report and mine and create a Scrimmage thread.

You did as well as I, and better than most would have.
Something I want to add: The D line looked like men. I've been to many practices over the years and this is the first time I kept looking at the D line noticing that they weren't just big and long, but like men among boys. FMB will tell you I mentioned the D line several times almost in awe.
