Help an out of stater here. Have the owners of WMS committed to any renovations yet?
I think we can all agree it’s a dump. And a pretty embarrassing place to host games, particularly SEC games.

The state has agreed the UofA can pay for all needed renovations so that it can meet the SEC's requirements for games.

Ummm...kinda. It's not quite the shithole it once was, but it's still a shithole. And I grew up on Little Rock games living in NLR and then south AR. It's always seemed kind of a shithole to me. Razorback stadium is waaaaaay nicer. BUT...the tailgating at WMS is waaaaaay better. They need to create some space to tailgate in Fayetteville.
I enjoy games at both. I can't pick a favorite. Maybe I'm being sentimental but I still enjoy WMS games even though Razorback stadium is far and away better and Dickson street.

It’s been two years since I moved, but Fayetteville was closing this gap pretty fast. You’re right, they need more space, but the Fayetteville tailgating atmosphere was pretty electric.
Having said that, the golf course sort of has a Grove type feeling. I’m not sure you can replicate that.

central arkansas doesn't support football anymore. the supposed "best team in state" had an important playoff game today and the attendance was embarrassing -
