It's baffling to me. The equivalent for LSU would be being forced to play games in Shreveport. LSU would tell those folks to piss off and drive their happy asses to Baton Rouge.

Little Rock was the home stadium for a long time. They played more games there than in Fayetteville.

We're busy trying to hire Gus right now. Please save GSDs for the off-season.

It is in the Central part of the state that at one time had the best football in the state. No longer, although one LR team won a state championship today against a NW Arkansas team I believe.

It is where the power, politics and influence was at the center in years past. Much of this has changed and some of the above has become more prevalent in NW Arkansas.

The political give and take has broken in some points. Unification needs to begin, but I am not sure how. FOr some reason the WMS situation has more powerful folks still involved than I thought at this juncture.

We have idiots in our fanbase that don't understand math.

Attendance numbers say otherwise

It was important in the past, the far distant past, particularly before an interstate connection to Fayetteville was available.

Now, we have people who think the past is better than the present because they're mentally deficient. Those people are the ones trying to keep Little Rock games.

Politics and boosters don’t understand it's nearly 2018.

It’s asinine and since the palace coup to dump Long was successful, they want more meaningful or more games in LR.

The golf course tailgating also makes it unique. There's an 18 hole course right next to the stadium where everyone parks. I have some great memories of walking through that golf course on gameday. My dad and I would park at the Doctor's building for free and walk all the way through. Good times.

GSDs

What is this?

Also, wouldn't recruiting and revenue benefit by playing all games in Fayetteville?

Fayetteville inflates the numbers.

Great Stadium Debate

DWRRS vs WMS

ARK vs LR

Hell yes. Recruits can’t see the facilities or campus when in LR.

Until the 90's it was the bigger venue with lights for night games. Depending on schedules we had years where more "home" games were played in LR than on campus. That happened basically from 50's thru 80's.

It use to be very difficult to get to NWA, you had to take on of the passes through the mountain, today there is a 4 lane highway going there.

Fun fact: my Granddaddy played in the first game in that stadium circa 1948 against Abilene Christian.

Little rock fans drive up and help fill DWRRS.

NWA fans don't drive to little rock to help fill up WMS.

Little Rock has the better fans. They drive for their team. NWA fans won't.
