Consider just cancelling football. Please.
Pour money into basketball and baseball and create dynasties. Accept reality and just cancel the football program. At least then you don’t embarrass the university anymore.

We need it unfortunately to pay for the rest of the sports.

This, with the new naming rights of RRS come the $$$ to upgrade BWA!
Hy said this himself. Football is what pays for the majority of the other university athletic programs. So, when folks become tired of paying for a terrible program, changes happen. And we start all over again until the next coach comes in... Once in a great while we strike a bit of oil...
Time to strike!
