Glad we avoided the mid-week upset:

ULL (11-13, 2-4 Sun Belt) beats LSU 3-1
Lipscomb (11-13, 0-0 Atlantic Sun) beats Vandy 5-1
Nicholls State (9-15, 4-5 Southland) beats Miss State 7-4

Looking forward to this series in Oxford. Hope we end this road trip with a series win.

Memphis is bad but Reindl was worse tonight. Mid-week games are good for getting your arms sorted out and for figuring out who will be headed to JUCO/out of the program next season.

DVH is giving Reindl plenty of shots and he has yet to come through this season. Reindl struck out 5 batters tonight but had multiple wild pitches and gave up 6 hits/5 runs and a homer to one of the weakest hitting teams we will play this season.

I think Reindl will get another shot.... probably as a filler vs. ULM but he his running out of chances.

Well he’s a junior but no doubt he’s turning into Jacob Stone. Had one great year before losing it.

I know Knight is our Friday Ace, but who is starting Saturday and Sunday? Isn't one of the starters still nursing an arm?

Knight and Murphy. They haven’t announced probable rotation for OleMiss with it being Thurs-Sat series but it’ll be those two and TBA listed.

Campbell isn’t on the trip or roster because elbow inflammation. He had been the Saturday starter for the season after missing all of last year for removing bone spurs.

He hadn’t pitched to what the coaches expected or wanted until the UK start though he had a couple okay games very early in the season.

Ole Miss fans seem to think we may play a doubleheader Friday since tomorrow is supposed to be pretty bad weather-wise. Not sure how that would affect things.

Curious to see who we start for the second game. I figure we'll save Murphy for Saturday since he just pitched Sunday but we used Bonnin and Rutledge against Memphis so I couldn't see them starting.

Dave mentioned Lee as someone who could get it but Bolden is another possibility.

Rutledge threw 20 pitches last night to Bonnin's 36.

Someone needs to do a gamethread on the rant. We seem to win when that happens.

Nice start but we can't expect to fall behind and get a meatball every at bat.
