This isn't a new concept nor is it exclusive to Chad or even the sport of football itself. The head coach of the defending national champs has adopted this approach in the past. Getting upset over what our players wear in spring practice is silly.

Is he? Or is the media playing it up because they don't have anything to report and it's a nice little talking point to chew on while it's the off-season? Either way, you're way too emotionally invested in players wearing some sweats. This ain't pink jerseys. That was an attention grab.

hell, I remember last fall he is praising Colton Jackson for coming back from injury, then Colton is shown on that brainfart confusion play where he just sat there, and the fans trashed Colton for weeks. Why couldn't the coach come out at that point or any other point in the season and ask the fans to stop trashing his players? Why is that?
Because all the player trashing was born of the Poor Little Chaggy bullshite, that's why. I've been around a bunch of years and I've never seen the trashing of players like what happened last year, to defend an unaccountable coach.

They must have added "Defending players from online trolls on social media" to the Head Coach job description without me knowing. Man that job just got a lot more time consuming.

Probably for the best. He's here for at least 3 years any way you cut it. He has a shtick. I can certainly see how it could be annoying. But if it brings wins, I don't care if we throw him a damn parade with a float of Morris' head driving down Dickson.
