"GORILLA BALL" ...is how Peyton Stovall, along with Aloy described Arkansas baseball this season..asked if it was the back-to-back-to-back big flies on Saturday and Stovall replied "no, it's just an attitude which pervades this team to hit the ball as hard as we absolutely can in every at-bat" Don't know about you guys but me likey, me like a lot. I think that attitude is the only thing missing from most of DVH-coached teams down through the years.

Glad to hear him say it's not just about hitting homers. You can see that nuance in the team's plate approach so far this year. I've been pleased with how we seem to be much more willing to put a level swing on the ball where it's pitched rather than trying to force everything over the fence like early last year.
