One of the most awkward things I've ever seen was a couple of years ago at the state school administrators conference. Asa starts talking about how everyone else is getting an extra year for covid and he should get an extra year as governor....... crickets.....
I don't think he even realized how cringy it was but his handlers got him to wrap it up and get off stage very quickly after that.

What is his long game in this? He has to know his chances are slim to none. Seems like a waste of his and mostly other people's money.

Friend of Bill. 41, 42, 43, 44, and 46’s handlers are pretty much all aligned on policies these days.

Divide the “republican” vote. Gets trump back in the general and past the primaries. Last poll I saw, it said Trump was only getting 43% of the combined likely voters vote. Trump was 60%ish and it’s republicans and almost nothing with democrat voters, but the worst part was he was less than 30% with independents. So he could win the primary if all the republicans keep entering, but he can’t win the general.

Also maybe if that happens, he can go be an Ambassador or CIA/FBI head, I feel like that’s what Cotton wants too.
