Like I said. At our absolute best we give up 3 runs a game. Does not bode well for Omaha. I predict we lose in the supers. That’s alright I think the next 3 years we will be better than this one and we won a natty at some point in that time

I think we need to learn how to finish off an event before we win the Natty. We need to learn what winning a tournament is all about and that starts with winning the SEC tournament instead of playing to get back to Fayetteville ASAP. Gotta walk upright before you run. We haven't done that yet.

I know we differ on this opinion. Would it be nice to win the SEC tourney, sure.. .However, in the scheme of things I really don't give much of a hoot.

We are already nation seeds for Regional and Supers if we get there... That is what matters to me. THen on to Omaha hopefully!

Nicklaus once said "winning breeds winning". Arkansas baseball needs to hold up that SEC trophy and get use to being the last team standing so they can get over the hump at Omaha.

The deal is van horn didn’t play these last 2 games like his season depended on it. He simply doesn’t put much stock in winning the sect. Now whether or not that’s good or bad can be debated but the fact is his no.1 priority wasn’t winning this thing. once he had a national seed locked up he could give a fiddlers frick about the sect. What worries me is that we haven’t hit well the last few games and our own just isn’t too 10 caliber he’ll idk if they’re too 25 or too 35 caliber tbh. That’s what scares me and why I don’t see this as a championship caliber team. Then again I didn’t think last years team would get as far as they did so what do I know

Exactly, me either. I didn't think there was a chance of us even being as good as we have been this season, now next... Yep

and I get what the other dude posted. Good teams win period, but the way DVH manages his team... just doesn't give much credibility to the SECT...

What I was referring to by winning, is winning championships. We have not a single SEC Championship in baseball since joining the conference. As good as some of our teams have been I think that is an absolute shame.
