Pretty disappointing weekend. First home series loss in over a season. Just something about Ole Miss and is not being able to win that series every season.
Hope Kostyshock gets better. We need strike throwers in the worst way. Hopefully Martin can stay solid at the plate. Ezell needs to get back in his groove.

I figured we only get one this weekend. We should be #22. Ole Miss is more of a #8.
Ezell needs to be leadoff, move Martin down. Opitz needs to hit the cage
Pitching looks weak. Scroggins throws more balls in the dirt than anyone in recent memory. We played a team that makes us prove we can throw strikes today, and they spanked our arse. Mostly because we can't throw strikes. Only gets harder from here

Pitching looks weak.
So has the batting order. We are am average baseball team right now.

quote:I tend to agree with you. There is talent top to bottom of the order at the plate but we aren't having the type of games we did last year when everyone was seeing the ball. Defense is drastically improved over 2-3 years ago and somewhat improved over last year. Pitching after Campbell and Cronin looks to be a weakness.
We are am average baseball team right now.
That said the talent is in place and we have the coaching staff to bring out the best. If we can show improvement weekend series to weekend series we'll still be in the hunt for hosting a Regional.
