I am working, eating about 200 gram of protein, 370 carbs and 90 grams of fat. Trying to get from 165 to 180

My girlfriend is like 5'6 120. But she is skin and bones... She works out everyday so I guess that weight comes from muscle mass? Girl doesn't have an ounce of fat of her


Hawgeye, I haven't yet. I am doing the HPER until I find one I really like. It takes me a while to make decisions that require commitment

I have some options, powerhouse(several friends train there so I can go with them and they can help me)
I still need to check out your snap fitness place
I actually have two friends who also work at that planet fitness across from you, one is a trainer and one is a manager. Big mother frickers

But I don't want to succumb to that place...

How old are you? Your metabolism will slow with age. I was about 145lbs at 6' when I graduated HS. 15 years later I'm at about 170. Skinny is better than the other end of the spectrum.

Make sure you do more than sit around on the couch and gain weight... you should still be strength training and conditioning. Probably more bodyweight stuff like pushups, pullups, and situps than weight training--but I've never been to basic so I don't know for sure. 17 lbs of fat at your height is going to feel pretty shitty

You probably didn't mean it like that anyway. Good luck. When do you go?
