FTR - I don’t believe that HLATN were or ever have been druggies in any way. I know Huey has a major hearing disease and I don’t know if they can play anymore. Think they can still record.

I was always an 80's rocker... Motley, Def Leppard (my favorite still) kiss, Cinderella, Warrant, WhiteSnake, Great White, Styx, Boston, Ozzy, Metallica, etc.

I know some were 70's but... the point.

Then I went to see HLATN in Mempho and they were incredible! I wish they could tour again. Great concert. also an Eagles fan... fwiw.. lol

Janie Lane passed way too young. Drugs and booze, lotsa booze. Married Bobby Brown, she was HAWT!.

Chery Pie Girl. Watched their headline concert in New Orleans at the Super Dome on youtube a few weeks ago. Unbelievable talent. Back when concerts were an event. He would sing, drink, smoke something, talk to the ladies, perform,... crazy times

I made all my concert rounds in the 90's. STP, Bush, Smashing Pumpkins, Tracy Byrd, AC DC, Oasis, and some Led Zeppelin tribute band were some of the better shows I saw.

Tracy Byrd was an outlier. I don't really like country, but they were playing a small venue in Mountain Home to satisfy a contract he had signed before he got popular. It was ok, but not really my thing.

I barely even remember some of those concerts because we certainly didn't stay sober during them.

Dee Snyder owning Tipper Gore. FTR, this was before “my time” but a major moment in the history of free speech no matter how you slice it.

I saw Huey back in the day.
Opener was Stevie Ray Vaughn.

agreed... we rented a conversion van, filled it with all the alcohol one could imagine and drove to memphis to see Cinderella, Nelson, and the lynch Mob at Mud Island.

My first concert that got me hooked was Ratt during their prime. Dance dance, dance... body tallk, back for good, way cool jr was later, round and round, those dudes put on a show with warren demartini, robin crosby (died with aids) Juan Crouciea (sp...) Cheap trick opened and they were terrible.
