He's lucky he's alive after rolling his car without a seat belt on. Hopefully McAdoo bounces back from it, but back injuries can be tricky to deal with.

We got a transfer punter from UT-Martin. Did both punting and kicking there and was 8th in the FCS in yards per punt.
I'm assuming he's walking on which would be a nice get.

Arkansas has landed a commitment from Butler (Kan.) Community College cornerback Christopher Rhodes.
The 6-0, 185-pound defensive back went public with his decision on Tuesday following a one-day unofficial visit with the Razorbacks, choosing Sam Pittman’s program over other offers from UT-Martin, Towson and Mississippi Valley State.
"I'm a Razorback," Rhodes told HawgSports. "Worked out really well, actually. Loved the visit, Pitt (head coach Sam Pittman) is super cool!"
Rhodes has already received his associate degree and plans to move in at the UA on May 26. The Independence (Mo.) Truman native will have three years of eligibility remaining in Fayetteville.
Rhodes was recruited by defensive backs coaches Marcus Woodson and Deron Wilson, along with the help of defensive coordinator Travis Williams.
Rhodes told HawgSports over the weekend that he initially planned to stay at Butler C.C. through the 2023 season in order to stockpile more game film, but an offer from the Razorbacks would be too much to turn down, he said.
“Since I just received my associates degree I’m able to leave now, but the plan was to come back to get a full season’s worth of tape and then leave in December,” Rhodes said. “But obviously if I go on this visit and they offer me, I’m committing on the spot!”

It's depth. McAdoo situation isn't good.

Damn I hate to hear that for him. We absolutely can’t catch a break in the big 3 sports when it comes to injuries. We finally find a home grown lock down corner and he has a fluke potential career ending car accident.

I didn't figure things were good when it's been over a week and still in.

Not a bit. Sounds like he's being transferred to a facility in Colorado. Only person I've known to go there had a spinal cord injury.
Hopeful he can live a normal life. I doubt he plays again.

Had the same thought.
We’ve pulled two DBs out of the portal since his accident, which tells me the outlook (at least from a football standpoint in 2023) isn’t good.
Forget football, I’m just hoping the kid recovers and can live a normal life unaffected by this accident.

Very much this. Even if he never plays another down for us he'll always be a Razorback and I want our players to have a good life.
The new DB is an emergency player, but better to have those emergency players and not need them than need them and not have them. The kid has already picked up his associate's degree so he's probably fairly bright, that will help him pick up the system hopefully.

I wish it had not been needed, but, sadly, this is what you do in this situation. You pick up some players to fill in. We are addressing obvious needs and not trying to paper over them.

Former TCU cornerback KeeYon Stewart has flipped his commitment from Michigan State to Arkansas.
The 6-0, 185-pound defensive back made his decision following an official visit in Fayetteville (Ark.) on Wednesday afternoon. Stewart spent four seasons at TCU before entering the transfer portal in January. He is expected to join the Hogs officially later this month.
Stewart was a three-star recruit out of Houston (Texas) North Shore when he chose the Horned Frogs in the Class of 2019. He owns 46 career tackles, 1 tackle for loss, 1 sack, 10 pass break-ups, an interception and a forced fumble over the course of his 4-year career.
In 13 contests last season, Stewart recorded 14 tackles, 3 break-ups and a forced fumble
The Hogs have added seven incoming transfers on the offensive side of the ball so far, including quarterback Jacolby Criswell (North Carolina), offensive guard Joshua Braun (Florida), three wide receivers in Andrew Armstrong (Texas A&M-Commerce), Tyrone Broden (Bowling Green) and Isaac TeSlaa (Hillsdale College), and a pair of tight ends in Francis Sherman (Louisville) and Var’Keyes Gumms (North Texas).
The defensive additions include four defensive linemen in Keivie Rose (Louisiana Tech), Trajan Jeffcoat (Missouri), John Morgan (Pittsburgh), and Anthony Booker (Maryland), linebackers Antonio Grier (USF) and Jaheim Thomas (Cincinnati), and four defensive backs in Al Walcott (Baylor), Lorando Johnson (Baylor), Arthur Brathwaite (Western Kentucky), and Jaheim Singletary (Georgia).

Miami recruiting writer put in a crystal ball for Arkansas for JUCO IOL Amaury Wiggins.
Miami, Troy, Illinois, Mississippi State, Texas A&M, LSU, Penn State and Arkansas have all offered Wiggins in May.

Arkansas landed one of the JUCO ranks' most heavily-recruited targets on Saturday when Coffeyville (Kan.) Community College offensive lineman Amaury Wiggins committed to the Razorbacks.
Wiggins, who was offered by the Razorbacks on May 9, made an off-the-radar official visit with Sam Pittman and the Hogs earlier in the week and gave the staff a verbal pledge on Tuesday. The Pensacola (Fla.) native chose Arkansas over LSU, Texas A&M, Miami, Mississippi State, Penn State, Illinois and others.
He made official visits at Miami (May 5) and Illinois (May 12) prior to arriving in Fayetteville on Monday (May 15), and named a final five of Arkansas, Miami, Texas A&M, Penn State and Illinois at 8:20 a.m. Wednesday.
Wiggins, 6-3, 310, is a May graduate of Coffeyville C.C. and will be joining the Razorbacks later this month. He will have three years of eligibility remaining with the Hogs and is expected to compete at center and guard.
Wiggins will become the 15th scholarship offensive lineman on the Razorbacks' 2023 roster. Arkansas signed three high school offensive linemen in the Class of 2023, including Joey Su'a of Bentonville (Ark.), Paris Patterson of East St. Louis (Ill.), and Luke Brown of Paris (Tenn.) Henry County.

Arkansas gained another piece to the puzzle ahead of the 2023 season on Saturday as head coach Sam Pittman and the coaching staff landed a commitment from highly-recruited JUCO offensive line transfer Amaury Wiggins.
Wiggins posted his top five of Arkansas, Penn State, Illinois, Miami and Texas A&M on Wednesday morning and pulled the trigger on Arkansas on Saturday morning.
Wiggins spent his 2022 season with Coffeyville Community College in Coffeyville, Kansas, and he visited Arkansas on Monday. He also received interest programs including LSU, Mississippi State and others.
At 6-foot-3, 310 pounds, Wiggins played center for JUCO powerhouse Coffeyville. He was offered by Pittman's staff on May 9 and it made sense as they were likely looking for depth at the center position behind starter Beaux Limmer.
Wiggins, who is originally from Pensacola, Florida, appeared in four games during the 2022 season and his Hudl tape shows that he can also play guard. He reportedly visited Miami and Illinois as well, but Pittman and offensive line coach Cody Kennedy were able to seal the deal once they got Wiggins to Fayetteville.
Arkansas has added just one other transfer offensive lineman since the end of the 2022 as former Florida offensive lineman Joshua Braun committed in December. The Razorbacks now sit at 84 total scholarships, which leaves one open scholarship remaining for the 2023 roster.
