Went down it once at 4.8, a 4 hour float took like 30 minutes and years off my life.
We went to put the day after a big flood down there around that level. it was a blast. had to go put in on the little mulberry though as they had barricaded all the put ins on government land.

Floated Steelcreek to Kyles on both Thursday and Sunday. Much better float on Thursday...probably stope out 2-3 inches over the weekend

We floated the same on Sunday. That is the busiest I have ever seen that river. We took our daughter out for her first trip down the river. Had a great time.

I did Steel Creek to Kyle's Landing yesterday. Really tough towards the end, that section has a lot of rapids.
Hiked up to Hemmed in Hollow falls, and along some crazy cliffs and bluffs along the way. I hadn't done some of that stuff and it really blew me a way. Its like Arkansas' little Yosemite or something. Just amazing scenery. We had some light showers off and on during the day so the falls were gushing pretty good. It was jaw droppingly cool as we approached, hiking up from the river. I'm beat to hell, though. That lower section needed another inch of water.
