Has anyone had their appointment yet? I was curious how easy it was to use and if you can still keep your tickets if you opt in for it but don't see anything you like once you are in for your appointment time.

It's pretty easy. Is this your first year?

Your past seats will show taken until you don't renew. As in, you can't buy any of my seats until I don't buy them this year. Or at least, that's the way it looks for me when I look at seats around the stadium. I can see all my seats available, but you would see my seats as a red dot until I didn't renew those seats.

Yeah it's my first year. Previously I was buying a pair of season tickets directly from a friend. That dried up last year so I decided to invest in my own finally.

I like my seats now but I see a couple currently available that interest me. I just want to make sure that, if I login at my appointment time and enter the process, that I can still keep my current seats if there is nothing I like.

I'm sure I can, it would be ridiculous if you couldn't, but I just wanted reassurance.

Here is a tutorial video that explains the process better than I can:

LINK

If you have any problems then you talk to a rep by calling the Razorback Foundation.

You don't give up your seats unless you deselect them at the checkout. If you find better seats select them and then proceed to checkout. There will be a list of the seats you have selected (including your previous season seats).

They will show a breakdown of the cost and donation required. You can deselect which seats you don't want and then check out.

I was worried about the same thing.

I didn't want to opt in only to end up with worse seats.

You hold on to the seats you have until you manually deselect them.

I get that, but I never understand going the season ticket route anymore. Free/cheap tickets are available for just about every game. The last ticket that was hard to get was the Bama game with Petrine as coach.

But go ahead and pay the foundation money to be able to purchase good season tickets.

This will be the case, unless we hire Sabah or Belichik

Also, do you not have a buying group you can join and offset the foundation racket?

I used to buy individually or get tickets from folks on the fly but I'm a stand the whole game type of person and buying my own has allowed me the ability to pick a place in the stadium where I know I can do just that for the most part. Way too often I was told to sit down when I was just buying or using other tickets.

That same thought process goes into buying as a group. I've had friends try to corral me in over the years to do that. It would have been with what the normal person considers better seats but I'll trade that for being able to stand and get overly emotional for 3-4 hours about a game that actually has zero impact whatsoever on my life.

I have 10 season tix every year. They more than pay for the donation, and I attend a couple of the games each season. So, it is a Bidness decision.

Or so I tell my wife...
