Greenwood DE Morgan Hanna offered a preferred walkon.

Thankfully there are plenty of walk on kickers available. We have bigger needs than using another scholly on a kicker. Good luck to the kid at Baylor.

My thought is he committed to Ole Miss on his visit and will publicly announce it then. Their pay boards are being way too quiet about his visit which makes me think they don’t want to risk it leaking out and us talking him out of it.

At this point it feels like we will lose at the very least 1 more. So if we end up with him i won't be mad, but i will say that i would have loved to take him instead of hicks, and kept everyone else + LBs way more.

Hicks is a Hog for one main reason. They NEEDED a capable QB with the ability to enroll for spring practices and Ben knowing the offense made it a major plus. He can help everyone else around him especially lead when it’s player only workouts.
It was a move to improve the team now. They have to show progress next year to help in recruiting. Hyatt, JSJ, Lindsey and Noland doing baseball they needed a QB on campus to push the program along.

According to my numbers they are at 17-18 counting preferred walkons Vest and Kallesen for fall camp.

Do we have any backup plan in case Spivey flips, or do we just save the scholarship? We really need to start filling in the RB roster. Need at least one badly for the future.
