Late offers happen all the time with JUCO's
So much changes with them over a course of a season. We got on Tretola very late as well.

I don't think so.
Ellis, Eugene, Greenlaw, Hackett, Harris isn't a bad rotation if they stay healthy.
Add in Bell, Carmouche, and Harris....and I think we probably see a late offer to a JUCO LB like we did with Spaight a few years back. Just not sure who.
LB depth isn't as bad as it seems, we just have had a TON of injuries.

It certainly was this year.

yeah I've got zero faith that we could put 4 good LBr's on the field when this past year we only had 1 to put out there who we lucked into as a true FROSH.

those guys are very talented, we just don't have the depth.

I want to see Harris after this season.
He was hell on wheels on special teams. Can really bring the hat and has good speed.
I bet we see Bell go back to his hand on the ground. I think we all saw this season that speed at LB is more lethal than size.
Ellis couldn't cover the local star TE at the nursing home if his life depended on it.

thought he went back to his hand on the ground before the season started? before he redshirted this year.

Yes, I believe he did.
My comment was in reference to a previous comment in this thread about us going to a 3-4 and Bell playing LB

I can't believe they didn't pull the shirts off Bell and Graham after the Toledo game and went w/ Roessler and the Hawaiian kid as back ups most of the year.
Posted on 12/7/15 at 10:19 pm to CtotheVrzrbck
glad they didn't pull their shirts now
I'm sure they thought long and hard about it at the time.

I've seen bert hint at 5-2 before
I play 5-2 on ncaa and bert would be a based god if he does this.
have one or two des kick out every play, no way to read the rush, basically a 3-4 package that shuts down the run and gives opposing qbs headaches.
just need shut down corners and the other team can't do shite.

We played some 5-2 against Bama and LSU IIRC when Roesler became our SAM LB but stayed up on the line to get man on man and load the box.
