Seriously. You can't judge your program or coaching staff based off the whims of these kids, as if getting or not getting Putu is going to significantly impact our on field success. All that matters is how the recruiting and development as a whole translates onto the field. We have increased our win total the past 2 seasons, lets not get bitchy because a few kids change their minds.

can you imagine getting the 12th ranked class and having this reaction

quote:

I'm officially concerned about this group of coaches' and their ability to recruit at a high level.

LB, DB and DT should have been easy with the playing time available.

I'll go ahead and say it. I, just my opinion, do not believe Mac has "it" and that "it" is what gets National Championships

well, no shite. People are focusing on losing out on the ones we really had little to no shot at (minus Putu). Not ONE of you thought we were getting Fulton or Cleveland before today. What the frick about the ones we got? We signed solid talent at positions we needed.

buncha brats up in here.

How many serious sanctions have there been due to recruiting violations? I honestly can't remember that many.

Not cheating/not cheating enough gets you days like this.

Guess I will throw some gas on this fire

O'Grady and Greenlaw have been told to "sit out" until they get their academic house in order. Bert said they have responded well through the first few days.

So Uncommon

Not me, I'm fine with this class. I will say I don't like the #'s. We were suppose to take 25, and I believe we're at 20.

Did the coaches not say they wanted 25? We ended up with what, 20 or 19? That's a failure. I didn't think we were getting Fulton or Cleveland but considering what the coaches said I assumed they had other guys ready.

We can't afford to lose Greenlaw.

Letting the U skate proved that the NCAA has been neutered.

Most coaches and recruiting coordinators are well aware of this fact and are taking full advantage of it.

But they won't. All that not cheating does for you is guarantee more losses.

- Just once it would be cool to have the feeling of a totally pointless top 10 recruiting class. Not that it matters. Because it TOTALLY doesn't. But it'd be cool.

The number of signees does make me wonder if this staff was told one thing and blindsided a time or two(Ala DGB).

it totally does matter as evidence shows you can't win a NC without atleast 1 top 10 class.

FWIW. the avg recruit score of 86.75 on 247 is the highest avg rating for Arkansas ever. It translates into an average star rating of about 3.7.

Last year was the 2nd highest ever at 86.4 or 3.6 stars

the year before was 5th all time at 84.7 or 3.5 stars
