My advice for all parents is to stay away from message boards when it comes to opinions on a fanbase. Make your decision based on team chemistry and potential success of your kid. Fans are bat shite crazy especially on anonymous messageboards.

all teams have crazy fans. Alabama fans shoot eachother over losses. lsu fans melt like no other and try to fire thier coaches mid season. some idiots at arkansas egg our qbs truck...
he should have either just stayed off other teams boards, went on the visits and just enjoyed himself. he brought this on himself by making himself a public figure, posting his thoughts and views publically, all the while knowing his child was going to be recruited heavily by these teams. he is a key piece in his sons life and recruiting decision. of course he is going to be brought up in discussion of the recruitment of his son.

it depends really. I've seen some post and just give insight on our coaching staff (which I appreciate as I like to know about them)

so basically we are open 1 spot again. Cleveland (if he comes) will remedy his loss. I'm not sure we actually have any recruits besides the ones we have heard about. Danny west says there is a RB who will commit if we don't get porter, but that doesn't add anyone to fill the now vacant spot.

Man, why am I getting a very very bad feeling about signing day. A week ago we all thought this was going to be the best class we've signed in 20 yrs… now… who knows.
And as for the Fulton Dad situation… I think it's one big troll job by a fan, who knows from what school, but it just seems weird.

I think we get the ugly DE. he said he almost committed while here. said he will probably finalize it tomorrow or the next day. today the good vibes are gone because most of our targets just went on a visit elsewhere. I'm not worried. there is always hype after a visit. we had ours, it went away, and then we went and did our in homes and the good vibes came back so strong we felt like we had these guys in the bag.
let these kids come home today. our coaches will contact them tomorrow I'm sure as today is a quite day. they will talk to thier parents tomorrow or Tuesday. I expect on Tuesday afternoon we will start getting good vibes again and we will be hopeful on NSD. all of this was expected. be patient.
