so what happened around here? like a week ago it was laughable to even mention the possibility of Fulton coming and now there is new hope. did everyone stop listening to the LSwho fans? I remember saying I thought we had a better shot at Fulton than brandon jones and Hudson and someone told me that I had that totally backwards. now it's basically known jones will be going to texas and Hudson never visited and there are signs of Fulton spurning lsu.

Recruiting is extremely fluid. Situations are constantly changing.I think the official visit and in home may have really convinced Fulton to come along. I still don't give us a very high chance to land him but at this point it's definitely higher than Jones and hudson.

I believe we get cleveland as well. it only helps more with fulton I believe as well.

Most of us, wisely, are taking a wait and see approach.
Why are you on here crowing about possibly, maybe being correct about the perception of which guy might come here. I dont think anyone really thought we ever had a chance at Jones and Fulton is still a longshot.

I am definitely taking a wait and see, but am very optimistic.
I'm not really crowing as much as I am pleasantly suprised that the optimism of this happening has grown very rapidly. the turn around on it happened really quickly.
I was just using the story as a point, to show how different the outlook is now.

we went from no chance to speculation about a tweet that could mean he called while on a visit to Florida to commit in a matter of days.

I think its because a lot of us expected to already be out of it, and we're not (at least as far as we've been told). That's enough to be slightly hopeful imo. I think you mix that with that we still have a lot of openings and the staff hasn't flinched about them not being filled and we're starting to think something might be going on.
Also, this is sunshine & koolaid time of year- from now through spring game all the way to Fall kickoff.
Edit: unless something bad happens, then its time to burn everything to the ground and start over.
