He legit wants to play RB people.
If there's one thing we don't need it's a linebacker that wants to be a running back.
Glad he figured that out before signing day.
Good or bad, just ready for Wednesday to get here, get our guys that want to be hogs and look towards spring pratice.

It's disappointing we spent so much time on him as a LB target for years and then in January he starts with the RB stuff.
He was the player that was suppose to commit with Agim that first game weekend and put it off until Halloween weekend.

I want Putu. I liked the film on him, plus he'll have 3 to play 2.

With that many coaches visiting Fulton, makes me think the coaches believe they have a good shot at him

Looks more like a Hail Mary to me. I'm a noted pessimist though.

That is a lot of manpower allocated this close to signing day with so many open spots.

.... so... LaFrance is quoted as saying the Fulton is 90% Hogs....
Has anyone else heard this?

Possibly. It could be a hail Mary to convince the dad. Bert's never done something like this before with any recruit. Makes me think it's not a desperate move, but a calculated action.
With the rumors that there's disagreement between the dad and son on Arky vs LSU, I can see Kristian telling Bert to bring the house to try and convince the dad. Might've set it up with Bert on his official to Fayetteville when they discussed his dad's involvement with LSU.
Eta since the dad wouldn't come to the coaches, bring the coaches to him.

Arkansas views Kristian Fulton as “icing on the cake”
Arkansas views Kristian Fulton as “icing on the cake”
quote:
Rummel coach Jay Roth said he has never seen seven members of a college coaching staff walk through his hallways to meet with one recruit.
Their message has been well-received, said Fulton.
“That just shows how important I am there,” he told SEC Country on Thursday. “They’re rebuilding over there, and this shows how big of a piece I can be over there. They have some great players committed, and this shows how important I am to them.”
“Every coach wants to be the best they can be, and this shows how badly they want me,” Fulton continued. “I can see it. If they add me, I’m the icing on the cake to such a great recruiting class.”
Fulton spent last weekend in Fayetteville, Ark. alongside high school teammate and Arkansas defensive lineman commit Briston Guidry, as well as two New Orleans area prospects in De’Jon Harris and Giovanni LaFrance, who are also Arkansas commits.
However, much of Fulton’s time was spent speaking with Razorbacks players, who share the same vision that Fulton is starting to see for the team’s future.
“I went up there this weekend and had a great time talking with the players,” he said. “They say this coaching staff is special … Every since coach (Bielema) got there, they’ve been progressing. They’re telling me how I can be a part of that progress. They feel like they’re a recruiting class or two away from being in the SEC Championship game.”
Fulton has taken an official visit to LSU and will be in Florida for the final weekend of the recruiting season.

Arkansas cornerback target Kristian Fulton and his parents hosted Coach Bret Bielema and several assistants coaches for an in-home visit on Thursday night.
Fulton, 6-0, 170 pounds of Metairie (La.) Rummel said on Twitter the in-home went great. He then gave a few comments about why the visit went so well.
"Just getting my family acquainted with the staff and Coach B," Fulton said. "I really think they enjoyed the time spent and got to learn a lot about them. That made me happy to see them enjoy it. I still have to sit down with my parents and discuss everything before Wednesday."
Bielema, offensive coordinator Dan Enos, receivers coach Michael Smith, defensive line coach Rory Segrest, running backs coach Jemal Singleton, tight ends coach Barry Lunney Jr. and defensive backs coach Clay Jennings visited Fulton and defensive line commitment Briston Guidry at their school.
The coaches made an in-home visit with Guidry before heading to see Fulton.
Fulton, who's ESPN's No. 3 rated cornerback, will wrap-up his official visits with a trip to Florida this weekend. He visited Arkansas last weekend and LSU the weekend before.

If the staff convinced dad then he'll probably come to Arkansas, if not who knows. Are there other family members that Bert could convince and in-turn sway dad also? Man, I just hope this isn't another Solomon Thomas/DGB...
