“I’m not really looking to commit anywhere,” O’Grady said. “I’m going to take it as the same as the offers from all the big schools. There’s going to be a great deal of excitement in my mind. It will be great for my mom and my mentor as well.”

Several different ways one could take those comments....my interpretation is that he comes off a bit slighted by being offered so late
Had he been offered 2 months ago, it wouldn't just be the same as the other schools.

That's how I took it as well. In the Scout article from early January, he called Arkansas his dream school. Now our offer is the same as all the big schools. That's the risk they run by not offering these kids early that you know you are going to end up offering anyway.

It really seems like they're taking the path of most resistance. In-state guys should be easier to recruit than out-of-state. So if they're offering in-state guys late, I'm just going to hold out hope that they feel great about out-of-state prospects who they feel have higher potential.
But it seems incredibly risky. Load up on the SEC quality guys from in-state ASAP to get your groundwork done, then focus on the high value guys and don't be so spread out while doing it.
