At least he's still trying. I do give him props for that. MSmith hasn't brought shite this fall. He's been job hunting more than recruiting I imagine.
I'm preparing to be underwhelmed w/ how we finish this class.

I"ve pretty much accecpted that portis is gone, and while i think he needs one more year to hone his defense, that's fine.. but it hit me today if we lose Qualls we are truely screwed next year. there is a black hole at SF behind him. we'd have to start miles basically. we have a plethra of SGs.. babb, hannah, bell, watkins, but no SF

Guards are fine, we've recruited shite down low last 2 years and whiffed on all of our targets.

Qualls isn't a "SF".
He is the third guard in a 3 guard line up.
Combo Guards and Forwards is what Anderson uses, not "1,2,3,4,5"/"PG, SG, SF, PF, C" or however you want to list the positions.

If "forwards" sounds like "fours" to you, then yes.

They will sign a forward of some type for sure:
Forwards:
Kingsley
Williams
Miles
Thompson
Obviously if Portis comes back it will be just one to replace Harris, if not two will need to be signed probably a combination of JUCO and either transfer or HS player depending on where the staff thinks Thompson will be next year in regards to min/game.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Qualls put into a G/F combo position allowing him to work from the high post out with one of the forwards at the low post.
