Saw someone post on 247 that Pettway is only 16. Lot of room to grow if true...didn't realize he was that young.

Can we get a commit please

Business will pick up when the dead period ends

It has been a long time. Graham was last Nov 4th and could decommit when RS leaves. Would go all the way back to Pettway Oct 26th.
We need some momentum.

I still don't see how we get to 25 at this point.

Mayhem. Only possible way.

I think we'll have a small push in Jan. but it seems that we're pretty content with what we have and there's not too much to gain in flipping commits.
Maybe this staff takes the foot off the pedals when a guy commits, but the early commit phenomenon is just business as usual now and I'm not sure if it's good for the game. It does give parity a strong foothold as kid's aren't exactly reliable or even fully grown and like Mack Brown's Texas coaches were prone to do and take kids who peaked early, a coach like Bielema who goes a slower pace has a chance to evaluate more and hopefully pluck those he feels has the right make up to excel in our program.

If we don't hit 25 I think that speaks good to the coaches confidence level in those kids we sign working out, contributing, and getting their UofA diploma.
Not go at it with the shotgun approach like some coaches. Pull the trigger and hope a good portion you sign work out. cough Tennessee cough

I don't think its ever a good idea to leave slots open. At the very least fill the slots and hope you hit on one.

I hope if we peak out on 22 or 23 with this class that we just don't take two other bodies or give walk-ons the spots.
Hold them over for next years class when we should win 8 maybe 9 games. We will be able to count back with us having at least 6 early enrollees this year. Take a class of 27-28 in 2016 if the quality isn't available this January.

This is my biggest fear. I would much rather hold them over. If everything goes right then next year is going to be big for us. It would be nice to have that extra space if we take off.
